Charity Dinner
An inaugural dinner to raise funds for charity is planned for the evening of 4th August 2008. It will be held at the Grand Ballroom, Gurney Beach Resort, Penang.
The governor of Penang, TYT Yang Di-Pertua Negeri Pulau Pinang Tun Dato' Seri Utama (Dr.) Haji Abdul Rahman bin Haji Abbas in support of the charity suggested this himself and he has graciously agreed to be our guest of honour on that evening. This is fully supported by our State Government.
Our Patron, YAB Tuan Lim Guan Eng, Chief Minister of Penang has agreed to attend the above function in addition notably other state excos YB Chow Kon Yeow, YB Phee Boon Poh and other state excos will be present.
We are seeking sponsors, contributors, advertisers and those who simply want to purchase a table of 10 for their guests, to have a superb dinner and for a good cause.
A table of 10 will cost RM 1000. We are seeking donations of RM5000++ but the sky is the limit. The Governor will specifically recognise donors of RM5000+. Other areas for donations are:
- Prizes for raffles.
- Items of significant value for auction.
- The purchase of advertising space in our Souvenior Programme at the rate of :-
* RM 3000 for front cover
* RM 2000 for back cover
* RM 1500 for inside front and inside back cover
* RM 1200 for a centre page
* RM 1000 for an inside page
* RM 600 for half a page
* RM 350 for a quarter page
As you can see there are many ways you can contribute and no amount is too small or too big. We will accept any contribution you wish to make.
